Urban Potato

My dad had hip replacement surgery last week. Man, has medicine come a long way.

Dad popped in for surgery at 7:00 in the morning, and by 11:00 he was done and walking. Three hours, and a small three inch incision in his thigh was the only evidence of a new titanium hip lurking below his skin. I'm amazed that something as complicated as a complete hip replacement isn't more invasive.
