Another KAT in the HOUse

My HUMAn, the Exceptional nice, DANNa cam home last Nite with a "guest". She is little, fuzzy, LIks to EAT MY fud and goes By the NAMe of "Opus". Apparently her Humans are BIG fans of the Opus One Winery so they named her after the Winery...sounds LIKe HUMans who DRink 2 much to me. I MEowed at HER, we touched Noses, then I chased her a bit -- and she still didn't leave. SLY the KAT followed her AROund for awhile and they touched NOses and still she didn't LEAVe. This OPus cat stayed with us one time last year too - it was fun...but remember I AM a KAT so don't like Change even it is "good" Change.

So Opus is ON HOliday at our house but WHY does SHE get to Sleep in the BED with the HUMNs - Sly normally sleeps with the Humans and then I come in in the MOrning but Opus just jumped right in BEd with them and didn't even ASk us if it was OK. I watched and SHE SLept on their HEads for part of the Nite - silly little girl.

All 3 of us KATS are at home alone 2day while Brian and the lovely DaNNA are at work .....so it is a PARty. If only I had THUMBS and could work that DAMn can opener we would be eating Wet FUD until we burst...since that isn't POssible we will settle for running AROund the HOuse, chasing Each other and Dropping as much hair on the CARpet as possible - it out to be fun! BUT then I will 2 SLEEp 2day so I hope We can fit it all in.

What is this thing Kalled Work?

My HUMAN go to a place kalled WORK -- DAnnA has been going ther alot -- she LEAVs vry EARLY lik 7 am and then comes home after MIDNIGHT. This leavs NO time for her to PET me or giv me-ow wet FUD. She is working on a projekt AT WORK that is Taking LOTs of her time. But WORK....What is it? WoRK isn't edible lik Wet FUD. Why DOes she go there? SHE comes home and is tired -- she tells me she will be done in a few weeks and then she WILL SPEND LOTS OF time wid me. WHY does work tak so much TIM? It DOESn't seem worth it. I Heard of SOMeding Kalled work-life balance but DANNA doesn't have any Balance. She WORKs to much. KATs don't do WORK she could Become a cat like me. I get to sleeeep in and lay in the Sun and shed Hair. And sometimes I chase around SLY. That's fun - SLY is a Kitty like me and we chase after Each OTHER. I BET DAnnA doesn't get chase People or Kitties at work. Danna needs MOR balance...more sleeping, more petting the kitties, more feeding me Wet FUD.

She IS gonna WORK this weekend - both days -- that is SADurday and SUNday -- But I don't really understand WEEKENDS because I don't really have a week -- most days are the same for me so There ISN't much need for a WEKENd. I'm glad I Don't have to WORK. I think EVERYOne should quit their JOBS and Lead the KATS lif. When it is NeXT yer wll anyone remember how much THey did at WORK or will they remember their va-CAT-ions --- IF DAnna remembers her vaCATions then why DOesn't she take more vaCATions --- yeah THAT's what I am -- I am a CAT on a permanent vaCATion. I am FRANKIE the Cat on a vaCATions.

My words of wisdom for the week... Have more va-CAT-ion and less work.

Fuzzy

Dear HuMANS - I am Fuzzy - I M long-haired and it is starting to GET hot OutSID so I WIL shed - GET over It. When you R as Fuzzy as me, you would give up on gROMing too and Just Shed. My HuMAN DOEs Not understand it is no good 2 try 2 PIK it Up with that Scary Loud MACHin. SHE alwys has 2 change the bag in the Scary Loud MACHin. DoeSn't she no that the Scary Loud MACHin is Loud and Scary to me...yet it is Interesting and intreeeguing. MEOW! AT first I run, but I ALWays stay klos enuf THAT I can watch every movement of the Scary Loud MACHin. I don't quite Understand HOW it works but She pushes it all over the floor and SOME times it picks up my hair clumps and other tIMES it leaves them on flor. Me and this Scary Loud MACHin have a love hate relashunship - it is Loud and Scary but the same time it Taunts me to LEAVE more hair where it has been.

BeCause of my long-hair I also get Mats sometimes - like I SAID I gave up on GROMing myself long time AGO - the whole hair BaLL thing is gross - so I QUIT groming meowself and just LIKE majic NO more hair balls - I THOUGHT of that solution all by meowself. My HUMN tries to bRUSH me but MY hair grows faster than SHE can COMB so the MATs always WiN! I am a little NErvous bcause some times when I get this WAY my HUMAns put me in a little carton and TAKE me to this SCARY place where they have other animals and lots of combs and the worst of ALL - BATHS! There ARE never many Kitties there - mostly those dumb things THAt Bark alot and do Trikcs -- I HOPe my HUMans don't tak me to that SCARY place.

REMber I am Fuzzy, that is why U like to pet me, so get over the HAR thing and Just PET me.....did I mention - Give MEOW Wet FUD!

Eat Fud in Bowl. Luk out Window. Sleep ON Window Sill. MEOW. MEOW. with a schedle like that I am TIRED. I better go NAP now.

I AM a kitty cat. My NAMe is Frankie. but it Kould be NO or GET DOWN or STop It or Prety-- my HuMns Kall me those things ALOT. But I like the NAMe Frankie. I hav been practicing typing whil my HuMns are out -- I don't hav THUMBS (or individual fingers) so TYping Kan be Hrd. MEOW....Meow. I LIve in this house with DAnna (she's is the primary gIVER of Wet Fud), BriAN (he's ALways on this Kompude) and SLY (he's another Kitty that cam to Our HousE in JANuary). MEOW....Meow.
