This was the first time I've been back to my alma mater since I graduated, and without going into details that was a hell of a long time ago. I met up with my good friends Erin and Steve, and we had a great time reliving the "good old days" of drinking beer all day, and basically being care-free. Danna gets the blue ribbon award for letting me booze it up the entire weekend while she took care of Cole.
Cole thoroughly enjoyed Erin and Steve's kids, and he almost got the hang of sleeping in a strange environment toward the end of the weekend.
The Grill Beckons
Erin bought a new BBQ grill just for the weekend. With the help of beer, and an occassional glance at the instructions, we started assembling.
Leak Check
While the instructions recommended performing the leak check using soapy water and looking for bubbles, Erin found it more convenient to just light the thing up in the garage and look for flames.
You Talkin to Me?
Cole puts on his game face while we tailgate before the game.
Not a Fan
Clapping + Screaming + Cannon going off == not crazy delicious.
That's Better
After a quick bit of calming and a relocation to the nosebleed section with fewer people, Cole starts to enjoy the game.
Gagage Grilling
Erin grills up some great grub in the garage. No worries about carbon monoxide. That doesn't happen in Wyoming.
