I’m willing to walk 60 miles to raise money for breast cancer research. You can join me, without taking a step.

This summer, I’ll be participating in a very special and powerful event in the fight against breast cancer.  In August, I’ll walk 60 miles from Enumclaw, WA to Seattle in 3 days to raise money for breast cancer research.   The net proceeds will support the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade’s mission to fund access to care and find a cure for breast cancer.

I’ve agreed to raise $1900 in donations by the end of June.  But I need your help.  Would you please consider making a fully tax-deductible donation to help me reach my goal?

Did You Know?

According to the National Breast Cancer Coalition, a woman dies of breast cancer every eleven minutes. That is approximately 130 deaths each day.   Over 182,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.  That’s why I’m walking so far.  To do something bold about breast cancer.  I hope you’ll share this incredible adventure with me – by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.

How You Can Help

Please take a few minutes to read the enclosed pledge form and designate the amount that’s right for you.  I’d like to keep track of and personally acknowledge each donation, so please send your donation with the pledge form in the enclosed self-addressed return envelope. Donations are tax-deductible, and should be returned to me no later than June 30.   You can also donate online athttp://www.bethepeople.com/donations/online.html and be sure to note it is for the Seattle 3-Day Walk for Danna Redmond, participant number: 3330.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and for taking the time to consider joining the fight against breast cancer.  I look forward to sharing this experience with you.
